Fun. Friendship. Charity. That's the goal of Make-A-Wish Pro-Am as we work to raise tens of thousands of dollars for the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the children they help. It's a goal we hope you will help us meet again this year. The Make-A-Wish Pro-Am will be held this year August 27, 28 and 29, and features an opportunity for amateur golfers from throughout our region to join with top PGA golf professionals as they compete for one of the PGA section's largest purses. Most important, the Make-A-Wish Pro-Am helps those who need it most by granting wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions. Your participation in the Make-A-Wish Pro-Am – as a sponsor, by attending the Dinner Dance or as an Advertiser – will help make sure that Make-A-Wish has the resources it needs to continue its valuable work. The Make-A-Wish Pro-Am also provides participants and their friends with the chance to network with area business and community leaders, as well as build friendships that last for years, both at our Dinner Dance on Friday evening and during the tournament. Started more than 30 years ago, the Whitford Classic has helped raise money for worthy charities throughout our community and is known throughout the regional golf community as one of the top tournaments for Philadelphia PGA Section golf professionals. Held from its inception at the beautiful Whitford Country Club in the heart of Chester County, this year's event again promises to provide all participants with a memorable and enjoyable experience.
